2:00pm Scavenger Hunt at Festival park

The Texas Crab Festival Scavenger Hunt is just around the corner…or behind the trailer…or under the table. Enter yourself or your team to be the big winner! Cash prizes are awarded. It’s a great event for the whole family as you explore the Festival. Admission to the Festival is Free on Sunday.

The Scavenger Hunt starts at 2:00 pm. Follow the given clues to find all the treasures on the festival grounds.

No need to pre-register, just show up near the T-Shirt Booth around 1:30 on Sunday. May the odds be ever in your favor

Music:

Kicking off Sunday entertainment at Noon, ‘Coastline at LSCPA’ is the most visible performing ensemble within the Lamar State College Port Arthur Commercial Music, Visual and Performing Arts Department. The group has regular bookings on campus and throughout the Golden Triangle. Past performances include The South Texas State Fair, Logon Café, Madison’s, Dylan’s, The Nederland Heritage Festival, Riverfest, and the Groves Pecan Festival. Directed by Commercial Music Instructor Carl Richardson, they perform a variety of genres ranging from country, rock and roll, blues, pop, and jazz.

2:00pm La Mentira NOrtena

Norteño Band Founded in 2016. Based In Houston Texas, they have traveled all over the US to provide Clients with their great Music. 6 Artists Including Martin as the singer, Daniel as the Sound Engineer, Noel as Accordeonist, Juan as Bajosextero, Antonio as Drummer, and Enrique as Bass Player.

4:00pm Cajun Blend

Cajun Blend (4:00 pm) is a 4-piece band with Jason Deleon on accordion. In 1996 he and bass player Aaron Sterling got together and started playing at the Rodair Club in Port Arthur. Aaron lived in France for three years and is very versatile in his genre of music. Drummer Curtis Harrington has been playing music for over 40 years ranging from rock and roll to Cajun music. Fiddle player Travis Benoit started playing the accordion at age 11 and eventually moved over to the fiddle.
